QUANTITATIVE MARKETING RESEARCH:
PRIMARY DATA COLLECTION, MAINTENANCE AND ANALYSIS



Customized knowledge services often, if not always, call for the collection, maintenance and analysis of custom primary data. These data pertain to the specific values (attitudes, opinions and needs) of buyers and prospects, their descriptors (demographics, firmographics) and physical location (address, Census tract, ZIP code).

Boston Analytics collects primary data to support our clients' decision-making. These data may be collected via the internet (web-based surveys, business or household panels), via the telephone or by mail.

We maintain the data in custom-built data repositories with user-friendly interfaces that are customized to the querying style of each client. The data may be cross-sectional or time-series driven and may integrate macro- and micro-economic drivers with buyer behavior and volumetrics.

Finally, we provide customized tools to facilitate analysis: reporting tools (database, tabulation, cross-tabs), statistical analysis (correlation and linear and non-linear regression, principal components and factor analyses, cluster and latent class analyses, classification methods, and many others), time-series and econometric methods.

When needed, we will stratify the sample of buyers and prospects and build powerful predictive models that allow our clients to collect limited amounts of data to minimize data collection costs via the use of these models.
