The Godrej Group
The Godrej Group is a leading industrial house in India, with holdings ranging from engineering to personal care products and with annual revenues in excess of $1.25 billion. The privately held company is involved in industries such as appliances, precision equipment, machine tools, furniture, office equipment, food-processing, security, materials handling and industrial storage solutions, construction, and information technology. The Godrej Group is respected for its philanthropy and initiation of labor reforms and is recognized for upholding values of fair, transparent, and ethical dealings.
Nadir B. Godrej, who serves on the Boston Analytics board of directors, is the chairman of Godrej Agrovet Ltd., managing director of Godrej Industries Ltd., and director in numerous companies including Godrej Consumer Products Ltd., Godrej Foods Ltd., Godrej Properties Ltd., Godrej Sara Lee Ltd., Goldmohur Foods & Feeds Ltd., Godrej International Ltd., Godrej Global MidEast FZE, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., and KarROX Technologies Ltd.
Nadir was the president of the Oil Technologists’ Association of India, The Compound Livestock Feed Manufacturers’ Association of India, and Protein Food & Nutrition Development Association. He also serves on the advisory committees of the Indian Chemical Manufacturers’ Association, is president of the Alliance Francaise de Bombay, and is a Trustee of the Foundation of Medical Research, Mumbai.
Nadir received his BS degree in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MS in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1976. He also was a George F. Baker Scholar.
