MANAGEMENT TEAM

Boston Analytics’ management team draws upon a diversity of backgrounds in both business and academia. Boston Analytics’ executives and analysts bring decades of diverse industry experience from Fortune 100 and emerging companies, from consulting & technology firms such as A. T. Kearney, IBM , and from financial institutions such as GE Capital and American Express. The team includes graduates from the Johns Hopkin University, US; Indian Institute of Technology, Aston University, UK, and University of Hull, UK; Norwegian University, and University of Delhi, among others.

 

Inder Thukral
Chief Executive Officer

Inder has over 17 years of global experience before his stint with Boston Analytics. He spent this time with IBM in a variety of different roles. In his last role at IBM he lead Strategy & Business Development for IBM across various growth markets. This has included being extensively involved in design processes, management systems, leadership model, and financial systems across various emerging markets like China, India, and the ASEAN. Before this role Inder has led the development and execution of the growth strategy for IBM India. During this period, revenues grew four-fold and our capabilities in India grew five-fold making India a global hub for IBM. currently has 4 patents and 2 papers published in his name.
Inder received his PHD from Rensselaer Polytechnic, his MS from University of Rhode Island, and BE from IIT Rourkee.

 

Rajeev Vaid
Chief Operating Officer

Rajeev’s basic mission at Boston Analytics is to help companies grow profitably in both developed and growth markets by bringing a degree of insight for the CEO, Senior Management and the Board that enables rapid decision making and tracking of end results. The belief is that the user experience for analytics has to be a lot more business critical - focusing on near real time insight and execution status. Rajeev has over 20 years of experience with leading global organizations like IBM, GE, Coca Cola, and Rolls Royce in Business Development and Business Leadership roles. He has developed expertise in Business Strategy, Analytics, M&A, and Outsourcing.
Rajeev holds a BE from IIT Roorkee, India and an MBA from the Aston University, in UK.


 

Devesh Bahl
Chief Financial Officer

Devesh brings over 20 years of global finance, M&A, and operations experience to his role at Boston Analytics . He is an expert on financial services and telecom. Devesh is a very senior industry professional having demonstrated track record in helping companies scale globally. He has worked with leading global and Indian organizations like American Express GE, and Motorola.
Devesh is a CA, Cost Accountant, and has a degree in Law and Business Administration from Delhi University. He has also attended Executive Programs at Harvard Business School.


 

Ted Thorbjornsen
Chief Analytics Officer

Ted Thorbjornsen has spent more than 15 years as a business and technology executive. As a business manager at Keithley Instruments, Ted’s responsibilities included growth and profit for the company’s research markets and also various electronic manufacturing markets. In the face of an economic downturn, Ted grew his business unit by over 50 percent over three years. From 1990 to 1998, Ted worked for Norwegian telecom company Telenor in the fields of optoelectronics and semiconductors. Ted received his MS in Electrical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and his MBA from Case Western Reserve University.

 

Anil Kapilashrami
Chief Information Officer & Product Development

Anil brings over 20 years of global technology and product development experience to his role at Boston Analytics . Anil has been a key player in the outsourcing industry in India- helping put together the very first technology platforms to help Business Process Outsourcing to take-off. He has several patents to his credit and has built innovative technology assets for Business Analytics. Anil has worked with leading global and Indian organizations like GE, Digital and Microland in executive and technology leadership roles.
Anil holds a BA in Computer Science from University of Maryland, US and a MS in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University, US.

 

Kimberlee Luce
Vice President Consulting

Kimberlee has led business research and consulting engagements for multinational corporations for more than 15 years. At Boston Analytics,she works closely with clients to better understand the risks and opportunities associated with entering or expanding in new markets. Areas of expertise include fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and healthcare. The focus of her work has ranged from luxury products and services to those which address the "base of the pyramid" in emerging markets. Kimberlee provides her clients with objective and realistic estimates of their future growth opportunities through intensive research and analysis of complex markets.

Previously, Kimberlee was a principal consultant with Abt Associates, focusing on new market opportunity assessments. Earlier,she was a partner at Saltworks and a management consultant with the Mitchell Madison Group. Other past employers include Yale University and Plan International.

Kimberlee received her MBA from Case Western Reserve University and was a Weatherhead Merit Scholar, John Corrigan Fellow, and 1993-94 Fulbright Scholar in South Asia where she has lived for nearly 10 years. She has been quoted in numerous publications and has made several appearances on CNBC discussing Indian consumer sentiment.
